Rainbows at Clonabreany...Marie & Brendan's Chic Country Wedding.

Wednesday, April 17, 2013

I have been looking forward to sharing this wedding since capturing it back in September last year. Brendan and Marie's chic country wedding in Clonabreany was a treat to photograph! From Marie's stunning gown, to the classic charm of this beautiful manor house, the fabulous rainbow weather and the looks of sheer happiness and love oozing from this couple, it was everything and more a couple could hope for on their special day!
Clonabreany House is located next to the Boyne Valley in Meath. It is set amid breath-taking countryside, consisting of two magnificently restored Georgian houses, a beautifully restored courtyard, a cosy private sibín bar, a luxurious private bridal suite and a Grand Marquee.
Clonabreany even comes with it's own transport....
On the morning of the wedding Brendan was getting ready in one of the houses in the courtyard while Marie was in the stunning bridal suite with her bridesmaids in the main house across the road.
I thought this was a really nice touch from the bride....personalised hangers with little messages to her bridesmaids!

Marie chose a classic black and champagne colour scheme for her day. I loved her unusual bouquet of black flowers finished with ostrich feathers, black silk ribbon, green berries and diamantes.
The ceremony took place in the nearby Kilskyre church. There were showers during the afternoon but the sun came out to play after Brendan and Marie exchanged vows.
When arriving back to Clonabreany following the ceremony we were presented with a beautiful double rainbow stretching across the sky..... It was magical!
"I really wanted a dress I could twirl in".....
Congratulations to Brendan and Marie on a truly magical day!
