A Floral Dream on a Summer's Day......Andrew and Fiona's Killshane House Wedding! PART 1

Tuesday, October 22, 2013

I'm delighted to be sharing this amazing wedding today. Andrew and Fiona were one of the lucky couples to get married during the amazing heat wave we experienced this summer. This hazy summer's day was perfect! Fiona was such an elegant bride and very DIY for her day. Following a floral arrangement course she completed with her sister, she took on the task of designing all the floral arrangements for her day. Her bridal bouquets were made up of stunning wild flowers she hand picked from her family home. Fiona designed her own wedding dress and then had it handmade. There was a real 'Irish country wedding' feel to this day with beautiful melodies in the church sung as gaeilge, mass booklets with gaelic messages, traditional Irish trad music at the drinks reception, home grown Irish wild flowers, not to mention the style and elegance Andrew and Fiona managed to portray in every detail of their day. This lovely couple celebrated their day at the beautiful Kilshane House in Tipperary. There was so much to share that I had to divide this wedding into two parts. Part 2 will follow soon. For now, here is part 1...
